I'm looking at an old painting of mine... something I did about 20 years ago... and haven't even looked at for about a half-dozen.
I hold it up to the light... illuminated from behind the canvas... and it glows.
Bright flames of cadmium red oil paint, stretched across canvas with a palette knife.
I have to capture at least part of the scene... so I zero in on a small portion of the top-left-corner... and snap and capture the moment.
