Steve Jobs officially resigned as CEO of Apple today. It's the end of an absolutely incredible career... and the beginning of a new era for Apple.

So - for today's 365 Project photo - I find myself focusing on the beauty of my super-slim Apple-TV remote... which is definitely the "sexiest" of my "collection" of remotes.

... a gem I found at Retrospect Vintage on South Street...

... this vintage 1970s red-brown leather jacket.

It sort of reminds me of Johnny Depp's jacket in the film "Donnie Brasco".

And no... it's not a fugazi... It's a real vintage treasure.

Now I just need a pair of Cazal 968 sunglasses.

I've been working on tracing my family's history and creating a family tree. This project was sort-of sparked by the trip that Holly and I will be taking to Italy next summer. Planning for the trip led to more and more questions about my own roots... leading me to research a little... which led to finding some gems of information... which led to more research and digging... more gems... and more questions.

So far I've been able to trace my father's side of the family back to the mid-1700s. I've found a TON of information about the Pia, Sansone, Verderosa and Pellicci side of the family.

I haven't had as much luck, however, with my mother's side of the family. Apparently the members of the Cacciotti family don't want to be found! I'm struggling just to find information on relatives I knew: my grandparents... my great-uncles and aunts... etc. - which just seems strange to me!

Still... the search continues!
