Temps near 100˚ here in Danbury today... and it "feels" even higher, according to the weatherman.

Tomorrow is supposed to be even hotter.

And to think... just a week ago people around here were complaining about how "this hasn't been much of a summer so far"!

Are we EVER happy with the weather?

I guess not!

A quick trip to the library before heading down to New Haven for the day.

An afternoon spent dreaming and munching at IKEA.

Big plans made.

Renovations... and more new comfort to come.

A meal at Louis' Lunch (Est. 1895) - for the SINGLE BEST BURGER I'VE EVER HAD!!! (But then again, this is THE birthplace of the hamburger... so it wasn't a surprise!)

A bit of a wander around New Haven...

Cutler's Record Shop...

Urban Outfitters...

Some shoe shopping...

A quick capture of shadows on the sidewalk...

Then we head home...

... with a quick pause for some ice cream at Field View Farm (Est. 1639).

Return home... rest... watch TV... relax.
